After several years away, the Lacombe Palliative Care Society is once again hosting our Day of Remembrance.

We may be a little late, but our gratitude is just as big 🩷 A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and donors who supported our Summer Solstice Derby, we couldn’t have done it without you! Your generosity helps keep our society rolling and makes events like this possible.

If you are a member of our society or considering joining, we invite you to attend this workshop to discuss the future direction of our organization and our upcoming plans.

This National Palliative Care Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the people and programs in our community who walk alongside individuals and families during life’s most tender times.

We’re so excited to be partnering with the Lacombe & District Agricultural Society for this year’s Summer Solstice Derby happening June 21, 2025!

A heartfelt thank you to Isabel and Kelly for their incredible generosity and talent! They created and donated 32 of these beautiful lap blankets, complete with soft pockets, to the residents at Lacombe Long Term Care. Your kindness will keep them cozy and warm!

Unfortunately we are seeing fewer members at our meetings and at our next meeting we are going to be evaluating membership numbers and where our society is heading. There will be a vote at our January meeting on January 14th, 2025 at 4:00pm.
